Gentaro Ishizuka

Gentaro Ishizuka Born in 1977, he is a photographer. Started traveling around the world from around the teenager years, traveling back to Africa while traveling back to 1999, photographed while crossing Asia “Worldwidewonderful” at the Epson Color Imaging Contest Grand Prize. In 2002, he won the Visual Arts Photo Award, the Japan Photographers Association New Recognition Award in “Worldwidewarp” which photographed the phase of digital images while wandering around the world eastward and west around the world. In 2006, the exhibition of the series “Pipeline Alaska” shot to follow the Alaska pipeline and the same name photo collection are topics. Dispatch of overseas artists of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, 2011. In the spring of 2012, we are invited to SIM Residency in Iceland to produce shooting pipeline carrying geothermal energy to the city. Next summer, we plan to publish a new photo book of the pipeline project. In September 2013, an exhibition will be held at Reykjavik Photo Museum in Iceland.

His style of keeping shooting his own landscape all over the world with specific motifs such as pipeline, glacier, gold rush, etc., also referred to as a conceptual documentary, is a topical event that crosses between documentary and art It raises its own image against topics.
